Ingrid Woudwijk is a multimedia journalist based in Istanbul since 2019. She reports on Turkish politics and the economy, while also seeking stories that provide deeper insight into the country’s culture, society, and youth. She has traveled to Syria to report on developments following the fall of the Assad regime and has experience with live radio interviews as well as photography.
She worked as an managing editor and writer for Turkey recap, an independent news platform with a weekly newsletter covering all things Turkey.
Ingrid speaks fluent Dutch, English and Turkish.
